Airport-corridor hotels are different from in-city.
Aerocity (Delhi), Devanahalli (BLR), Shamshabad (HYD) are purpose-built clusters near terminals. They’re for transit only. Don’t pick one for a city sightseeing trip — you’ll lose 90 minutes commuting to anywhere worth seeing.
Aerocity: JW Marriott, Pullman, Roseate. Devanahalli: Taj, Trident. Shamshabad: Novotel.

For 6 AM flights, this is the right answer.
If your flight is before 8 AM, an airport-corridor hotel buys you 2–3 extra hours of sleep over a downtown stay. For business travellers with frequent early flights, this is the obvious choice. Most people don’t realise these hotels exist.
Most airport-corridor hotels offer 24-hr breakfast and free shuttles to the terminal.

Day-use rooms exist for long layovers.
If you have a 6–10 hour layover, several airport hotels offer day-use rooms (4 or 6 hours) at a fraction of the overnight rate. Shower, sleep, breakfast, freshen up — then back to the terminal. Better than airport lounge chairs.
Day-use rooms: Aerocity hotels (Pullman, Holiday Inn), Hyatt Place BLR Airport, ibis Mumbai Airport.
